WHY REGISTER TO BECOME “PLASTIC-FREE ZONE AMBASSADORS"?

• Cleanup Training & Tips Sharing: We believe in the power of collective action. As a registered participant, you will receive valuable cleanup training and tips to ensure your efforts are effective and safe. Learn best practices, safety guidelines, and strategies to maximize your impact.
• Cleanup Toolkit Support (if needed): We're here to support your efforts. If you require cleanup toolkits, such as gloves, bags, and other essential supplies, we'll provide them for your cleanup activity. Let's make sure you have everything you need to make your cleanup a success!
• Recognition & Certification: Your dedication to making a difference won't go unnoticed. All registered volunteers and spot leaders will be recognized on the RethinkPlasticVietnam website for their efforts. Additionally, volunteers will receive a special certification acknowledging their commitment to protecting the environment.

HOW TO REGISTER:

To become “Plastic-Free Zone Ambassadors" is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

• Express Your Interest: Email us at quyen@rethinkplasticvietnam.com with the following information:     
  • Full Name
  • Contact Details (Phone Number & Email)
  • The location in Vietnam You Plan to Adopt for Cleanup on Saturday 16 September 2023
• Select Your Cleanup Spot & Activity Length: The cleanup activity length is flexible, ranging from 60 to 120 minutes. You have the freedom to choose the duration and cleanup space according to your preferences and the number of local volunteers joining.

PROGRAMME TIMELINE:

Aug. 01 - 15: Registration to become "PLASTIC-FREE ZONE AMBASSADORS" During this period, interested individuals can register to become Plastic-Free Zone Ambassadors and adopt a spot for plastic cleanup on World Cleanup Day. To register, email your full name, contact details, and the location you plan to adopt for cleanup on 16 September to quyen@rethinkplasticvietnam.com.

Aug. 16 - 30: Training & Preparing for the Cleanup Activity with RethinkPlasticVietnam Selected Plastic-Free Zone Ambassadors will undergo comprehensive training and receive valuable tips on organizing effective cleanup activities. RethinkPlasticVietnam will provide the necessary guidance and support to ensure that all Ambassadors are well-prepared for their cleanup efforts.

Sep. 01 - 16: Execute Plastic Cleanup Action Plan for Your Registered Location From 1st to 16th September, Plastic-Free Zone Ambassadors will lead the charge in executing their Plastic Cleanup Action Plans. Cleanup activities will take place at the registered locations, with a flexible duration of 60 to 120 minutes, allowing Ambassadors to adapt the cleanup based on the number of local volunteers joining.

Sep. 17 - 20: Review & Wrapup After the cleanup activities are completed, Ambassadors will have the opportunity to review and assess the impact of their efforts. RethinkPlasticVietnam will coordinate with Ambassadors for a comprehensive wrap-up session to celebrate their achievements and discuss the collective impact of the cleanup campaign.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• All cleanups must be conducted on 16th September 2023 to be part of World Cleanup Day.
• Your cleanup spot and activity length are flexible, allowing you to tailor the cleanup to your local community's needs.
